The unit features a double-walled construction, with the outer body made from M.S. sheet duly powder coated for durability and the inner chamber made from stainless steel (S.S.) sheet for enhanced hygiene, corrosion resistance, and easy cleaning. The S.S. sheet trays provide convenient and organized storage inside the freezer.

For improved thermal efficiency, the gap between the outer and inner walls is filled with high-grade PUF insulation, helping to minimize thermal loss and maintain consistent internal temperatures. The freezer is available in both Vertical and Horizontal models, allowing users to select a configuration that best suits their laboratory space and storage requirements.

The unit is equipped with a transparent acrylic inner door for convenient internal viewing and improved sample visibility. A mechanical voltage indicator is provided for monitoring electrical supply conditions. The integrated refrigeration system is designed to control the temperature from ambient temperature down to -20°C, while a microprocessor PID-based digital temperature indicator-cum-controller provides precise temperature regulation with an accuracy of ±0.5°C.
