The AVAIN LABS® Contact + Non-Contact Combo Tachometer DT-2236C is a versatile digital instrument designed for accurate measurement of rotational speed (RPM) using both contact and non-contact methods. Its dual-mode design allows users to measure rotating machinery without physical contact using laser/photo detection, or directly measure rotational speed using the contact mode. The DT-2236C is suitable for industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, laboratories, workshops, manufacturing, quality control, and educational applications.
With a non-contact measuring range of 2.5–99,999 RPM and a contact range of 5–19,999 RPM, the instrument provides a broad measurement capability for motors, shafts, fans, pumps, conveyors, engines, and other rotating equipment. Its memory function stores the last, maximum, and minimum RPM values for convenient comparison and inspection.

Non-Contact / Laser Measurement:
