AVAIN LABS® NEWTON’S RING MICROSCOPE AL-151A

The AVAIN LABS® Newton’s Ring Microscope AL-151A is a compact and complete laboratory instrument designed for conducting the Newton’s Rings experiment in physics laboratories, educational institutions, colleges, universities, and research environments. It provides a convenient arrangement for observing and measuring Newton’s rings with precision and ease.

The instrument includes a standard microscope unit with 30× magnification and a rotatable cross-line eyepiece, allowing clear observation and alignment of the interference rings. Microscope focusing is achieved through a smooth rack-and-pinion mechanism, providing convenient and accurate focusing during experiments.

For precise measurement, the microscope provides 26 mm longitudinal movement, operated by rotating the supplied drum. The measuring drum reads up to 0.001 cm, enabling accurate measurement of the ring diameters required for Newton’s Rings calculations.

The complete setup includes optical glass and a convex lens housed inside a protective metal case. The instrument is supplied in a sturdy wooden box with standard accessories, making it convenient for storage, transportation, and laboratory use.

The AL-151A can also be supplied with Camera Lucida – Miller Type and Camera Lucida – Prism Type, along with Double Demonstration capability for effective classroom teaching and experimental demonstration.
